Movement Mentor

Haley believes that dance education begins with the root of all forms: self-expression and community. She is dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore and reach their full potential as performing artists—from foundational coordination exercises and technique to complex performance pieces. Haley embraces and celebrates the diversity of dance styles and incorporates dance history as a way to learn about others and build understanding. Her teaching style encourages respect for the art form, for oneself, and for others, while emphasizing collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and discipline.

Dance Education

For the past 10 years, she been teaching students ages 4 through adult across Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. Her specialties include:

Judging

Haley is passionate about inspiring the next generation of movers. She has served as a judge for Nexstar National Talent Competition, bringing her professional expertise and deep understanding of performance, technique, and stage presence to the judging panel. With her background in commercial dance and years of teaching and choreography experience, Haley provides thoughtful, constructive feedback that supports dancers’ growth while celebrating their unique artistry.

Choreography

Haley studied choreography styles under her BFA and continues to grow as an artist. She is inspired by fusing dance styles and storytelling to create compelling pieces. She has Choreographed award winning competition teams for the past 10 years in the MD, NJ, NY areas. Haley’s versatility in training shines in her choreography and she is inspired to create magic moments to serve the story. Her work brings music to life through dynamics and connection to the human spirit throughout pictures and technical elements. Haley Has mentored actors movement and used her passion for moving the story forward through movement. On top of choreographing for dance studios, Haley is a experienced musical theater choreographer. Haley has a way of working with all levels in her choreography to make each person shine and as an educator this has been very beneficial in this area.

Haley will be an Assistant Choreographer for “Hello Dolly” in the fall at 2025 at the Olney Theater Center making her professional assistant choreography debut.
